Hope in Me Vocational Training Institute

It's My Time

Skills. Purpose. Hope.

We believe every young person carries potential. Hope in Me exists to give young people an opportunity to discover their gifts, develop practical skills, grow in Christ and become a blessing to their community.

Where It Began

A Hope That Started With Young People

Hope in Me was not born in an office. It began with young people who believed that something better was possible.

Young people of Hope in Me

We Had Hope

The story of Hope in Me began with a simple belief: young people have hope, dreams, gifts and potential, even when their circumstances make the future look uncertain.

As young people at Fields of Hope Church, we began coming together, talking about the challenges facing young people in our community and asking ourselves what we could do.

We realized that young people needed more than encouragement. They needed opportunities. They needed practical skills, mentorship, a place to learn and an environment where faith and everyday life could come together.

Hope in Me means that we still believe there is hope in every young person.

The vision is simple: help young people discover that hope, develop their abilities and use their skills to build a better future.

Our Journey

From Youth Fellowship to a Bigger Vision

What started as youth activities gradually became a vision for practical empowerment.

1

Young People Came Together

Youth of Fields of Hope Church began gathering, fellowshipping and discussing the challenges affecting young people in our community.

2

Youth Activities

We organized activities that brought young people together, including Bible quizzes, games, sports and youth fellowship.

3

We Saw the Need

Through these activities, we continued to see the need for practical skills, opportunities, mentorship and economic empowerment.

4

Hope in Me Was Born

The vision developed into Hope in Me: an initiative focused on practical skills, Christian values and a hopeful future.

Our Beginning

Youth Three Days Out

One of the activities that helped bring the youth together was the Youth Three Days Out at Fields of Hope Church.

Youth Three Days Out

Three Days of Faith, Fellowship and Fun

From August 23rd to 25th, the youth came together at Fields of Hope Church Busiika for three days of fellowship, Bible quizzes, games, sports and community building.

The activities included Bible quizzes, a 6-kilometre race, sack racing, balloon bursting, egg-eating competitions and a netball competition between Team Daniel and Team Gideon.

The event brought together children, youth, men and women and created an opportunity for young people to build relationships, discover leadership and grow together.

Where We Are Today

The Vision Is Growing

Hope in Me is a growing vision. We are excited about what can happen, but we also recognize the challenges that are still ahead of us.

We Need the Right Facilities

We Need Equipment

Every training area requires practical equipment. Computers, welding machines, bakery equipment, sewing machines, salon equipment and musical instruments are among the resources needed.

We Need Qualified Trainers

We want to work with people who have both professional experience and a heart for developing young people.

We Need Partners

The vision cannot be achieved alone. We need churches, organizations, individuals, professionals and friends who can stand with the youth.
