Our mission is therefore to glorify God by making disciples and fulfilling the Great Commission through the power and direction of the Holy Spirit, while living out the Great Commandment to love God and love others.

Fields of Hope:
The Story

Fields of Hope is a church that believes in Jesus Christ, a church that loves God and people.

Overwhelmed by the gift of salvation we have found in Jesus Christ, we have a heart for authentic worship, a passion for the local church, and a desire to see God's Kingdom established through the Gospel.

We seek to make disciples, serve our communities, raise leaders, and carry the hope of Christ wherever God sends us.

Unapologetic Preaching

We believe that the Word of God is true, powerful, and authoritative.

We believe that worship is more than singing. It is a lifestyle of honoring God.

Our worship is therefore centered on Jesus, expressed through our lives, and offered wholeheartedly to God.

Unceasing Prayer

Believing firmly in the power of prayer.

We believe that prayer is our communication with God.

We are therefore committed to becoming a praying people who continually seek God, trust His power, and depend on Him in every circumstance.

Unafraid Witness

Sharing the good news of Jesus with boldness.

We believe that every believer is called to be a witness.

We therefore seek to live and speak in a way that points people to Jesus, carrying the Gospel wherever God sends us.

Our Discipleship Journey

This Is What We Believe a Disciple Does

A disciple is not simply someone who believes in Jesus. A disciple follows Jesus, grows in relationship with Him, worships Him, and participates in His mission.

This is what we believe a disciple does: WORSHIP, WALK, and WORK.

Worship

Worship Christ

We believe that the chief purpose of humanity is to glorify God by loving Him with our entire heart, soul, mind, and strength.

We are created to worship God and to recognize His worth in every area of our lives.

Worship is expressed through adoration, praise, thanksgiving, obedience, and completely yielding ourselves to God. Worship declares God's worth and gives Him the honor He deserves.

“God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:24

Worship is therefore not limited to what happens during a church service. Our entire lives should become an offering of worship to God.

Walk

Walk With Christ

Walking with Christ involves a personal and growing relationship with God through His Word, prayer, witness, and the community of believers.

The Word of God

Daily time in God's Word allows us to meet with and hear from the Creator of the universe, who so deeply loves us and cares for us.

Prayer

Prayer is our communication with God. Through prayer, we share our adoration of Him, our burdens, and our confession, while continually seeking His presence and guidance.

Witness

Walking with Christ also means sharing the good news of the Gospel with others. Our lives should point people toward Jesus and give testimony to what He has done.

Small Group

Walking with Christ is strengthened through community. Small groups allow us to sharpen one another, discuss God's Word, encourage one another, and build meaningful relationships. We are not meant to walk with Christ alone.

Work

Work For Christ

Working for Christ is an overflow of our relationship with God and an expression of our worship and service.

“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace.” 1 Peter 4:10

Every believer has been given gifts and abilities that can be used for God's purposes. We are therefore encouraged to discover our spiritual gifts by taking the Discover My Giftedness Test and learning how God has uniquely equipped us to serve.

All believers are stewards of God's grace, and we are called to faithfully use what God has entrusted to us. Our service should not be motivated by recognition or position, but by love for Christ and a desire to see His Kingdom advance.

“Whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ.” 1 Peter 4:11

Our serving results in personal growth and brings glory to God. Whether through missions, ministry, prayer, practical service, witnessing, small groups, or caring for others, every believer has a part to play.
